Sync was the 6th in a series of 7 replicas, and was discarded shortly after being created. Viewing himself as a failed replacement, he sees no purpose in living his meaningless life, and strives instead to destroy the meaningful world. To savor the absurdity of this, he joins Van in challenging the party at Eldrant, and is slain in battle.
